Request a Prayer

When on pilgrimage to Walsingham, pilgrims have traditionally written prayer requests before the Statue of Our Lady of Walsingham in the Slipper Chapel – the place where centuries past, pilgrims took off their ‘slippers’ or shoes and walked barefoot along the Holy Mile, into the village where the original Holy House stood. If there are any prayer intentions that you would like to offer for yourself or for a special intention, please send them to us by writing in the comment box below. Prayers will be kept in a special book at Dowry House and placed daily at the feet of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, when Eucharistic Adoration is taking place in the Chapel. We kindly ask that prayer requests be kept brief, as the Lord knows what is already in our hearts.
